Community Use & Access

After opening its doors on November 16, 2004, Canada Life Centre has hosted millions of fans to watch some of the best entertainment and hockey the world has to offer. This diverse and vibrant facility has hosted everything from hockey games and trade shows to sell-out concerts and parades. Situated in the heart of Winnipeg’s vibrant downtown core, this 440,000-square-foot arena is located on historic grounds; the fusion of yesteryear’s elegance and modern distinction gives the building a look and feel that is uniquely Winnipeg.

Since 2005, True North Sports + Entertainment has been working with organizations from around the province with our Community Use & Access Program (CUAP). The purpose of the program is to provide a means for community groups to hold community events at Canada Life Centre. Manitoba’s strength lies in its people and the diverse communities in which we live — the centre of our community.

We are proud to offer this program and to encourage the development of sport, culture, fundraising and community-based activities that will showcase local skills and achievement.
